Jay grew up in Gig Harbor WA and in 2013 moved to Alaska. He is a project manager for a construction company building infrastructure in the most remote parts of the state. Jay enjoys every outdoor activity Alaska has to offer.

Jay married his incredible wife, Caylee, in 2016 and started attending Kaleo shortly after. They have three wonderful kids and have been led to foster teen boys.

His passion is to intentionally walk with others in community and do life together. The verse he lives by is Proverbs 27:17 "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." He strives to keep things simple and love God and love others.
