Missionary Work

“I have found that there are three stages in every great work of God: first, it is impossible, then it is difficult, then it is done.”

"It feels surreal that the time has finally come for me to start my two-years in Taiwan as a missionary associate. I am excited, yet there’s a hint of sadness that I cannot ignore. It’s the sacrifice of leaving my communities behind, leaving my family and friends. I must now become a part of a new community, to reach the unreached and to advance the gospel. I gladly embrace the calling, but I will miss my old communities dearly."

We are Adam and Amy Hodgdon. We are blessed with three sons, Cannon, Fletcher and Barrett. Right now we are in a phase of training to be missionaries with Ethnos360 Aviation. Adam is an aircraft mechanic and has been working in Alaska for the last 8 years gaining valuable experience.

We felt so challenged to be a part of taking the Gospel to the unreached, and we’re grateful to be moving towards that goal. Ethnos360 works among remote and isolated people groups in countries around the world that often don’t have access to roads or are anywhere near cities- making aviation a vital tool in bringing missionaries to them. Their focus is to plant maturing, indigenous churches in these tribal settings and we’re so excited about using the gifts that God has provided for our family to serve in this effort.
