Opportunity: Kaleo Student Ministry (KSM) Leader
Summary:
KSM serves 6th-12th grade students. We love to hang out and have fun together while growing in our faith, understanding, and love for God and others. At KSM, we seek true wisdom for life and desire to experience safe, authentic community. KSM high school and middle school students meet on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month from 1:30-3 pm for lunch, teaching, games, and fellowship, typically at the church. We also gather to serve missionally through 5th Sunday Service Projects. Additionally, we offer weekly bible study opportunities in homes, retreats/camps, and special events throughout the year.
Time Requirements:
Approximately 2-3 hours/week for Sunday gatherings. Initial commitment is for September through May.
- KSM Leaders are expected to serve from 1:15 pm until all students have been picked up by parents.
- Additional support may be needed during special events. Leaders may also provide support at weekly bible studies and retreats/camps, as schedules allow.
- Required trainings, as requested.

Responsibilities and Authority:
- Be attentive to students at all times, and invest relationally in all students.
- Confirm that students are checked in online and checked out by a parent or approved driver upon dismissal.
- Help maintain order during group times, and follow all safety, security, and risk management protocols.
- Direct students for room cleanup after meetings.
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with and caring for pre-teens and teenagers.
- Must be 18 years of age; if 18, must have graduated from high school.
- Pass background check through Department of Justice.
