Opportunity: Online Streaming Tech
Summary:
The Worship Arts ministry at Kaleo is actively engaged in preparing hearts for worship through song. Every team member plays an active role in leading others in worship and removing obstacles. The A/V tech team plays a vital role in making the worship team heard, visual aids seen, and our Sunday service available online. The Online Streaming Technician sets up and runs the Vimeo and Facebook live streams of our Sunday services. This also provides the archival recording of each sermon.
Time Requirements:
- Sundays, 10:45am-1:30pm, at least once every two months
This Position Reports to:
Worship Arts Director, Mary Giles mgiles@kaleoalaska.org
Responsibilities and Authority:
- Using Vimeo, Facebook, OBS software and a video switcher; set up a live stream of the Sunday service
- Switch camera angels when appropriate
- Set up and maintain adequate sound quality
- Troubleshoot any issues before or during the service
Qualifications:
- No experience necessary, but must be comfortable with technology and willing to learn.
- Complete a background check
